Chapter 7 Siddhattha Renounced the World after seeing the four Signs
နိမိတ္ႀကီးေလးပါးကို ျမင္ၿပီးေနာက္ သိဒၶတၳမင္းသား ေတာထြက္ျခင္း

A : " King Suddhodana wanted his son to succeed him the throne and become a Universal Monarch . "
သုေဒၶါဒနမင္းႀကီးဟာ သူ႔သားေတာ္ကို ထီးေမြနန္းေမြ ဆက္ခံၿပီး စၾက၀ေတးမင္း ျဖစ္ေစခ်င္တယ္ ။

B : " Enjoyed-Luxury and attention at the court ! "
နန္းေတာ္မွာ စည္းစိမ္ခ်မ္းသာ ေဖ်ာ္ေျဖမႈေတြနဲ႔ သာယာေနမွာေပါ့ ။

A : " No it's not . He knew that all the sensual pleasure in the world are superficial and impermanent . "
ဒီလို မဟုတ္ဘူးေလ ။ ဘုရားေလာင္းမင္းသားဟာ ေလာကစည္းစိမ္ခ်မ္းသာေတြ ဆိုတာ အနိစၥအၿမဲမရွိ ။ အေပၚရံမွ်သာ ျဖစ္တယ္ ဆိုတာကို သိခဲ့တာပဲေလ ။

B : " Undesirable sensual pleasure ! "
ေလာကစည္းစိမ္ကို ခံစားဖို႔ ဆႏၵကင္းတယ္ေပါ့ ။

A : " Yes, indeed . The prince went to the Royal Park at the age of 29 and saw the Four Signs.
အေလာင္းေတာ္မင္းသားဟာ အသက္ ၂၉-ႏွစ္အရြယ္မွာ ဥယ်ာဥ္ေတာ္ကို သြားခဲ့တယ္ ။ အဲ့ဒီမွာ နိမိတ္ႀကီးေလးပါးကို ျမင္ေတာ္မူတယ္ ။

B : " Waht signs ? And what's the feeling after seeing them . "
ဘာနိမိတ္ႀကီးေတြလဲ ၊ အဲ့ဒါေတြကို ျမင္ေတာ့ ဘယ္လို ခံစားရပါသလဲ ။

A : " They are ... an old man , a sick man , a dead man and a monk . The truth gradually dawned upon him and he realized that all worldly pleasures were only a prelude to pain . "
အဲ့ဒါေတြကေတာ့ သူအို ၊ သူနာ ၊ သူေသ ၊ ရဟန္းတုိ႔ပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ။ အမွန္တရားကို သေဘာေပါက္တာကေတာ့ ေလာက စည္းစိမ္ဆုိတာ ဒုကၡျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ဆိုတာပါပဲ ။

B : " Yes ... "
ဟုတ္ကဲ့ ၊ ေျပာပါ ။

A : " And ... he decided immediately on the Great Retirement that very day . "
ၿပီးေတာ့ ဘုရားေလာင္းက နိမိတ္ႀကီးေလးပါး ျမင္ေတြ႔တဲ့ အဲ့ဒီေန႔မွာပဲ ေတာထြက္ဖို႔ ဆံုးျဖတ္ခဲ့တယ္ ။

B : " Tired of worldly life ! Luxury and comfort . "
ေလာကစည္းစိမ္ သာယာမႈကို ၿငီးေငြ႔ စက္ဆုပ္တဲ့ သေဘာေပါ့ေလ ။

A : " Well , yes , of course . At that very moment he got a message that a son had been born to him . "
အင္း - ဟုတ္တာေပါ့ ။ အဲ့ဒီအေတာအတြင္းမွာပဲ သားေတာ္ေလး တစ္ပါး ဖြားျမင္ေၾကာင္း သတင္း ေရာက္လာျပန္တယ္ ။

B : " What , then ? "
ဒီေတာ့ ဘာျဖစ္ေသးလဲ ။

A : " Siddhattha came back to the palace and lying on the couch and fell asleep . "
သိဒၶတၳမင္းသားဟာ နန္းေတာ္ကို ျပန္လာခဲ့တယ္ ။ သလြန္ေပၚမွာ လွဲၿပီး အိပ္ေပ်ာ္သြားခဲ့တယ္ ။

A : " And ... after awaking he saw some of the ladies in- waiting sleeping around in shameless manner. It seemed like a cemetary . "
ၿပီးေတာ့ ႏုိးလာတဲ့အခါက်ေတာ့ သူ႔ပတ္၀န္းက်င္မွာ ရံေရြေတာ္ ( နန္းတြင္းသူ ) ေတြဟာ အရွက္ကင္းမဲ့စြာ အိပ္ေပ်ာ္ေနၾကတာကို ေတြ႔ျမင္ခဲ့တယ္ ။ အဲ့ဒါဟာ တစျပင္ ( သခ်ႋဳင္းကုန္း ) လုိ ျဖစ္ေနေတာ့တယ္ ။

B : " It made him to renounce the world , of course . "
တကယ္ဆိုေတာ့ အဲ့ဒါဟာ ဘုရားေလာင္းမင္းသားကုိ ေတာထြက္ေစဖို႔ ဖန္တီးတာေပါ့ေနာ္ ။

A : " Right . He ordered his courtier Channa to saddle his horse Kanthaka . He then walked to the chamber of Yasodhara to look at his son ( rahula ) for the first time . "
မွန္ပါတယ္ ။ အေလာင္းေတာ္ မင္းသားဟာ ဆႏၷအမတ္ကို က႑ကျမင္းမွာ ကုန္းႏွီး တပ္ထားဖို႔ ေစလုိက္တယ္ ။ ဒီေနာက္ သားေတာ္ေလး ရာဟုလာကို ဦးဆံုးအႀကိမ္ ႐ႈစားဖုိ႔ ယေသာ္ဓရာ မိဖုရားရဲ႕ ခန္းမေဆာင္ကို သြားတယ္ ။

ဘုရားအေလာင္း သိဒၶတၳမင္းသား ယေသာ္ဓရာ မင္းသမီးႏွင့္ လက္ထပ္ျခင္း

A : " King Suddhodana sent the officials to his relatives when Prince Siddhattha was at the age of 16 . "
သုေဒၶါဒနမင္းႀကီးဟာ သားေတာ္ သိဒၶတၳမင္းသား ၁၆-ႏွစ္ သား အရြယ္ေရာက္ေတာ့ ေဆြေတာ္မ်ိဳးေတာ္တုိ႔ထံ သံတမန္မ်ားကို ေစလႊတ္ခဲ့တယ္ ။

B : " What's the matter ? "
အေၾကာင္းကိစၥ ေျပာပါဦး ။

A : " Asking to send their daughters to be married to his son . "
သာကီ၀င္ မင္းမ်ားရဲ႕ သမီးေတာ္ေတြနဲ႔ သူ႔သားေတာ္ကုိ လက္ထပ္ဖုိ႔ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ။

B : " They agreed to do that ? "
သူတုိ႔က သေဘာတူၾကပါသလား ။

A : " No, they didn't . They said ... That Siddhattha was not well-trained in any manly art although he's handsome . "
ဟင့္အင္း ၊ သူတို႔ လက္မခံၾကဘူး ။ ေဆြေတာ္မ်ိဳးေတာ္ေတြက ' သိဒၶတၳမင္းသားဟာ ႐ုပ္ဆင္း ႐ူပကာ ေခ်ာေမာေပမယ့္ ေယာက္်ားတုိ႔ တတ္အပ္တဲ့ အ႒ာရသ ပညာရပ္ေတြကို မတတ္ဘူးလို႔ ' ေျပာဆိုၾကတယ္ ။

B : " The request of King Suddhodana was of nothing . "
သုေဒၶါဒနမင္းႀကီးရဲ႕ ေတာင္းဆိုမႈဟာ အခ်ည္းႏွီး ျဖစ္သြားတာေပါ့ေနာ္ ။

A : " Yes, indeed . "
ဟုတ္တာေပါ့ ဗ်ာ ။

B : " After that ? "
ၿပီးေတာ့ေကာ ၊ ေျပာစမ္းပါဦး ။

A : " The Prince knew about it and he told his father the King that he would show his ability as the best bow man of the day . "
သူဟာ အဲ့ဒီ အေၾကာင္းကို သိေတာ့ ခမည္းေတာ္မင္းတရားႀကီးကို သူဟာ အေတာ္ဆံုး ေလးသမား အတတ္ပညာရွင္ ျဖစ္တဲ့ အေၾကာင္း စြမ္းရည္ကို ျပမယ္လုိ႔ ေလွ်ာက္ထားလုိက္တယ္ ။

B : " Interesting facts . "
စိတ္၀င္စားဖြယ္ အခ်က္အလက္ေတြပါပဲ ။

A : " So the King sent the ministers to assemble the most distinguished bow men of the city in the palace ground . "
ဒါေၾကာင့္ ဘုရင္မင္းျမတ္ဟာ ေနျပည္ေတာ္မွာ အေတာ္ဆံုးဆုိတဲ့ ေလးသမားေတြကို နန္းေတာ္ရင္ျပင္မွာ စု႐ံုးေစဖို႔ ၀န္ႀကီးမ်ားကို ေစလႊတ္ေတာ္မူတယ္ ။

B : " Competition ! "
ၿပိဳင္ပြဲႀကီးေပါ့ေနာ္ ။

A : " Of course ; The Prince placed them at four different points and directions around him . He, himself ,stood in the centre. "
မွန္တာေပါ့ ။ သိဒၶတၳမင္းသားဟာ ေလးသမားေတြကို သူ႔ပတ္၀န္းက်င္ အရပ္ေလးမ်က္ႏွာမွာ စု႐ံုးထားလိုက္တယ္ ။ သူကုိယ္တိုင္ကေတာ့ အလည္ ဗဟုိတည့္တည့္မွာ ရပ္လုိက္တယ္ေပါ့ ။

B : " Yes, yes ."
ဟုတ္ကဲ့ ၊ ဆက္ေျပာပါ ။

A : " The Prince told the bow men to shoot their arrows at him all at the same time . "
သိဒၶတၳမင္းသားက ေလးသမားမ်ားကို တစ္ၿပိဳင္နက္ သူ႔ဆီ တည့္တည့္ ေလးျမားေတြကို လႊတ္ဖို႔ ေျပာလိုက္တယ္ ။

B : " Never heard of like that . "
ဒါမ်ိဳး တစ္ခါမွ် မၾကားဖူးဘူး ။

A : " The four archers shot their arrows at the Prince defended himself by shooting an arrow . It flew like lightning and hit all the four arrows coming in his direction . "
ေလးသည္ေတာ္ ေလးဦးက မင္းသားဆီကုိ တစ္ၿပိဳင္နက္ ေလးကို လႊတ္ၾကတယ္ ။ မင္းသားက ေလး တစ္စင္းကို လႊတ္ၿပီး ကာကြယ္လုိက္တယ္ ။ အဲ့ဒီ မင္းသားရဲ႕ ျမားေလးဟာ လွ်ပ္စီးလက္သလို သူ႔ဘက္ကို လာတဲ့ ေလးေတြကို ၿဖိဳခြင္းလုိက္တယ္ ။

B : " Most exquisite ! "
ရွာမွ ရွားပါေပတယ္ ။

A : " The Prince exhibited his skill , and so no other bow men could equal . "
သိဒၶတၳမင္းသားဟာ သူ႔ရဲ႕ ေလးအတတ္စြမ္းရည္ကို ျပခဲ့တယ္ ၊ မည္သည့္ ေလးသမားမွ မယွဥ္ႏုိင္ေတာ့ဘူး ။

B : " Because... he was just a future Buddha . "
ဘာေၾကာင့္လဲ ဆုိေတာ့ ဘုရားအေလာင္းေတာ္ ျဖစ္တာကိုး ။

A : " The relatives sent their daughters , beautiful maidens to Kapilavatthu .
ေဆြေတာ္ မ်ိဳးေတာ္ေတြဟာ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ ႐ုပ္ဆင္း႐ူပကာ ေခ်ာေမာလွပတဲ့ သမီးေတာ္ေတြကို ကပၸိလ၀တ္ျပည္ေတာ္ကို ပို႔လႊတ္လုိက္ၾကတယ္ ။

B : " To get married to Siddhattha . "
သိဒၶတၳမင္းသားနဲ႔ ထိမ္းျမားဖို႔ေပါ့ေနာ္ ။

A : " Yes, indeed Siddhattha , however , chose Princess Yasodhara. He married her by celebrating a great wedding."
မွန္ပါတယ္ ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ သိဒၶတၳမင္းသားဟာ ယေသာ္ဓရာမင္းသမီးကိုသာ ေရြးခ်ယ္ခဲ့တယ္ ။ လက္ထပ္မဂၤလာပြဲ သဘင္ကို ခမ္းနားစြာ က်င္းပခဲ့တယ္ ။
